To incorporate a delicious draft cocktail into Monkey Shoulder’s 2,400-gallon, on-the-road Monkey Mixer. And show the world that this Scotch is made for mixing.
We crafted “The Mixed Up Monkey”—a fresh take on the Mint Collins—and produced nearly 15,000 gallons of it. Then we made some slick modifications to the truck itself, incorporating a CO2 system that gives the drink its signature fizz and a seamless “craft on draft” design that pours it down the truck’s chute into the glass.
Monkey Shoulder quickly returned to us for a companion summer cocktail. So we gave them a mouthwatering frozen piña colada, along with all the machines necessary to serve multiple locations at multiple times. We’ve since created a full program for the Monkey Mixer, with 8 cocktails in rotation, all ready to go down the chute.
